So a big thing happened to me recently – I finally graduated from university. After about 8 years it’s about time, I’d say. Actually, I just realised that since I didn’t take a gap year after high school, I’ve been enrolled in an educational institution for the last 20 years. Scary, but exciting!
I spent altogether too many hours of my life in the library on campus, really. It was a necessary evil I’d say, and I don’t regret it one bit. It’s a part of my life that is now gone, but not forgotten.
Ducks are pretty great. Not as good as dogs, mind you, but pretty close. Multiple ducks eating in synchrony is even better! Although, these ducks will sometimes charge at you mouth open and squawking if you get too close. It’s actually as adorable as it sounds, though I’m sure the duck in question thinks it’s meant to be scary?
I got super lucky with this photo, actually. I was in the process of framing and focusing the photo when, out of nowhere, a bee popped up! It generously stuck around for a few seconds, providing the extra element I was looking for in the picture. If it wasn’t for the fact that C-mounts are fully manual I may have missed this shot completely, but I guess photography is a bit like that, isn’t it? And that’s why I love it.
