So there’s this really neat event that’s really taken off in the last couple of years, called the Suitcase Rummage.  The idea is pretty simple: you register, fill up a couple of suitcase with some items, then you show up on the day and try to sell them to people.  As you can see in the photo above, there’s a section for secondhand goods and a section for handmade items.  On the flip side, if you’re looking for a bargain, you just rock up and see if anything catches your eye.  It’s being run at a bunch of locations down the East Coast of Australia, so head over to their site and see if there’s one near you.

PS: I swear I’m not affiliated with them, I just think they’re super cool.

This week’s Photo Challenge is super interesting, asking us to envision a magazine cover.  I imagine this one would be for a piece about childhood or nostalgia.  Marvin the Martian and wrestling belts – how much more stereotypically boy childhood can you get?

I took the above photo at the Suitcase Rummage, an event held twice a month where people rock up with suitcases filled with second-hand or handmade items and try to sell them.  They hold them down the East Coast of Australia now, so if you’re around and have a bunch of secondhand stuff you want to sell, it’s definitely worth a look.
